Humboldt's Rural Mobile Notary Service

I provided notary sevices over the weekend for one of Humboldt county's oldest ranching families.

The documents required multiple witnesses, so I ended up around the table with a handful of neat men who have known, loved and worked this land for generations.

Stories started to fly, and soon I was transported to 1937, driving cows across the river in the very watershed where I live now.

This is a joyful part of my work that I never could have foreseen.

I am enjoying this life so much.
